July/February Resit Papers

Students failing the June call or not taking part in it could retake the assessment in July or February by writing a final original paper (essay) of 8000 words, developing an issue of the lecture chosen by them in accordance with the Professor. For that purpose they can be helped by the the different reading materials facilitated for the papers delivered during the lecture's time, the general readings of the course and the comments and handouts used for the lectures. But the main purpose of this task is to build up autonomous writing work.

Papers must be submitted electronically via Virtual Campus or per e-mail before the due date and must have the following format: Arial 12 p., 1.5 line space, justified alignment.

The delivery date for this final retake paper would be the examination date fixed for the September or February calls.

The paper will be evaluated taking into account the conceptual understanding of the issues dealt with, the ability to make an critical and rational analysis of the matter, a good structured development of the issue and the clarity and precision of the legal terms used.
